Lucas Mosher is a senior Actuarial Science major and Computer Science minor in the Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences from Erie, PA. He currently serves as an analyst in the Healthcare and Financial sector for SRI. He has recently accepted a position as a Pricing Actuary at the Allstate Corporation, where he will price consumer casualty and property products. During the past summer, he interned with Highmark Inc, working with their Individual ACA Pricing team to price products and perform profitability analysis in New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and West Virginia. Previously, he interned at Cigna Corporation, where he streamlined their use of Rebate Optimization models through scenario testing analysis, to determine how often, and when, Cigna should optimize its rebates to capture additional profits. In his free time, Lucas enjoys snowboarding, soccer, and fantasy football. He says that the Socially Responsible Investment portfolio has helped him develop better public speaking and analytical skills.
